Laserlab-Europe Newsletter #40: Young scientists in the lab

30 Sep 2026

Focus: Young scientists in the lab

Young researchers are key to the future of laser science in Europe. In this issue of Laserlab Forum, we therefore put the spotlight on eight young scientists from our community. They tell us about their careers, their current research and how Laserlab-Europe and Lasers4EU, including access to its facilities, have supported them along the way.

  • Myrto Charitaki (FORTH)
  • Sabin Mihai (INFLPR)
  • Gordon Zyla (VU-LRC)
  • Aradhana Dwivedi (IPHT)
  • Igor Tyulnev (ICFO)
  • Hugo Marroux (LIDYL)
  • Gonçalo Vaz (IST)
  • Dimitra Ladika (VU-LRC)
